My sophomore year of college, I had to write a cultural commentary for my Art of the Essay class. Given that we were in the midst of the #metoo movement, I decided to write about a media situation that I felt particularly impacted by. Over the past year, I have become more active in becoming more educated in and advocating for women's rights. I decided to use this piece as my inspiration for my experiments in this course because I believe that there are many different mediums that can be used for this type of advocacy.
